Our Love of the Sierra

The location might seem a bit off the beaten path, but we are very excited for all of our guests to join us at this beautiful lake in the heart of the Eastern Sierra.  There's just nothing quite like the High Sierra anywhere else, and October is a perfect time to enjoy fall colors and the outdoors.

We have a long history with the Eastern Sierra.  One of our first excursions with friends was to nearby Bishop for an Earth Day Fun Run, followed by some good bouldering and, of course, a trip to Schat's Bakkery. Over a year later, our first trip together was to nearby Mono Lake and Hot Creek (so that Allison could collect samples for her research), and we just keep coming back to the High Sierra.  We even got engaged atop a mountain next to Tenaya Lake, just an hour's drive away in Yosemite. 

We've hiked, run, climbed, backpacked, swam, paddled, and adventured in and around Mammoth Lakes, and we're excited to share the beauty of the outdoors with everyone.  We hope you can join us for some of these adventures while you're out there!
